A Study in Scarlet (1933)

This is an early 1930s movie featuring Sherlock Holmes. Almost everything about this movie was bad - bad plot which had NOTHING to do with the original novel, inappropriate actors in the roles of Holmes and Watson plus it was set in the 1930s (not in the 19th century) and Sherlock Holmes did not live at 221B Baker Street but 221A Baker Street. However, fortunately it has a short DID scene so it is not that bad after all :-)
The heroine, Eileen Forrester (played by June Clyde) is bound and gagged by the villain and she is left in his hideout while the gas is filling the room. Sherlock Holmes and her boyfriend find her, carry her outside and she is untied.
Please notice that Sherlock Holmes is keeping the scarf that was binding her wrists for himself. Maybe he is one of us.
