The Door With Seven Locks (1940) a.k.a. The Chamber of Horrors

This is a quite cool British mystery movie based on E. Wallace mystery. It has got everything you want from this kind of movie - an old house (in this case with a tomb and museum of torture), a lot of fog, bizarre villains, mute servant and of course a damsel in distress. She is played by Lili Palmer. The villains tie her up and lock her in the tomb. She is gagged with a rag tied over her mouth and even nose. She manages to loosen her wrists but not to free her hands and take her gag off and she starts to scream for help but no-one hears her. In the end she is found half-unconscious and rescued from the tomb.

Rocky Mountain Mystery (1935) a.k.a. The Fighting Westerner

In this early Randolph Scott western, his love interest played by Ann Sheridan is kidnapped by the bad guys in the end of the movie. She is taken from their hideout to a radium mine where Scott finds them and fights the bad guys.
Quite good but unfortunately we see most of her from great distance.

Sinful Cargo (1936) a.k.a. Yellow Cargo

A heroine portrayed by Eleanor Hunt is kidnapped together with her partner from the newspaper by a gang smuggling Chinese people into the country. They are both tied and tape gagged.

I usually don't mind putzes and sometimes I really like couples in distress scenes but this ugly guy interferes too much in my opinion. Luckily this scene is quite long so we get couple of single shots of Ms. Hunt alone and then the guy manages to removes his gag but she doesn't so she is gagged alone for a while. Probably the most interesting fact is that they are gagged with white tape which is very rare for these old movies.

The Avengers - S05E22

05x22 - The Positive Negative Man

Emma's worst scene ever. She is tied to the table, briefly gagged with a cloth and covered in some shiny foil.

The Avengers - S05E16

05x16 - Who's Who?

Two villains switch bodies with Emma and Steed. Emma gets back her body later and helps Steed to get his. They capture Patricia Haines whose body Emma previously had and try to get her boyfriend who poses as Steed.
Very short scene.

The Avengers - S05E09

05x09 - The Correct Way To Kill

We are lucky that the creators decided to remake an old Cathy Gale episode The Charmers. Its fabulous scene with the old school ties returns in color. The Russian agent played by Anna Quayle is chloroformed, tied up with the neckties and gagged with a hankie and a tie and the put in the box. After she is rescued by Steed, he asks her: "How do you feel?" and she utters the famous line: "Like someone who has been tied up and dumped in the box."

The Avengers - S05E05

05x05 - The Bird Who Knew Too Much

One of the best Emma Peel scenes. She is chloroformed in the studio where she comes snooping, tied to the chair, gagged with a black scarf and endangered by the death trap. However Steed is a clever boy.
Some nice struggling and close-ups of her face.
