Sherlock Holmes in Washington (1943)
Nancy Partridge (played by Marjorie Lord) and Sherlock Holmes (Basil Rathbone) are captured by the bad guys in the end of this movie. They are gagged with scarves over their mouth and their hands are tied in front of them. The bad guys want to shoot them but the help isn't far.
Glen or Glenda (1953)
I have never understood what is the purpose of these two scenes in this movie but it does not matter. Those ladies playing with ropes are very nice and besides Bela Lugosi they are probably the best thing in this whole picture.
Rough Riding Ranger (1935)
Heroine (played by Mabel Strickland) is captured by the bad guys, tied to a tree and gagged with a scarf with a large knot in the middle. She manages to spit out her gag and whistle for her horse to come to rescue her.
Bulldog Drummond Comes Back (1937)
Very short and dark scene of Louise Campbell who plays Drummond's girlfriend. She is kidnapped by the bad guys and found tied up and gagged and rescued by Bulldog Drummond.
